Update Aptana Studio using an Archive or Local File [edit]

To update your Aptana Studio Standalone from a Local File you will first need to download the zip to a known location.

Go to: http://update.aptana.com/update/studio/3.2/index.html

1. Click on “Download Plugin Update Site� button
2. Download it to your Desktop or Documents.

Once you are finished downloading the plugin zip to a know location, you can update your Aptana Studio:

1. Start Aptana Studio
2. Click Help -> Software Updates -> Find and Install....
3. Select “Search for new features to install...� and click next.
4. Select new Archived Site (if you already unzip the directory you download, you can select Local Site instead).
5. Browse to zip file you just download.
6. Click Open
7. Confirm that the local update site is now checked.
8. Click Finished.
