CQ3 (Challenge Quake3) Information:

Note: This is not necessarily the final version of the settings.

CQ3 is an update to the core Quake3 settings in an attempt to "de-newbietize"
some of the fundamental aspects of competitive Q3 gameplay.  The appropriate
term in referring to this format is "Chocolate Quake3" :)

Without further ado, here is the list of changes:

Strategic:
==========
  - Hit tones:
      o Four tones, each with a 25-damage range
      o Lower pitches indicate higher damage

  - Player spawns:
      o 100 health;
      o 50 bullets for the MG
      o Player respawn times are reduced:
         . Minimum limbo time is 1 second
         . Maximum limbo time is 10 seconds

  - Weapon respawns:
      o FFA - 5 seconds
      o 1v1 - 15 seconds
      o TDM - 30 seconds
      o CTF - 5 seconds

  - Item respawns:
      o Ammo boxes - 30 seconds
      o Health - 30 seconds
      o DM MegaHealth - 20 seconds after it "runs out"

  - Powerups:
      o Initial powerup spawns: 15-30 seconds into the game, 2min there-after
      o Powerup factors:
         . Quad is "true", i.e. 4x damage
         . BattleSuit protects at 75%

   - Armor system:
       o No "decay" over time
       o Green Armor (GA)  - protects 1:1, first pickup 50, second adds 50  (max 100)
       o Yellow Armor (YA) - protects 2:1, first pickup 100, second adds 50 (max 150)
       o Red Armor (RA)    - protects 3:1, first pickup 150, second adds 50 (max 200)

   - Machinegun settings:
       o FFA/1v1: 5 damage per shot
       o TDM/CA:  4 damage per shot
       o CTF:     7 damage per shot
       o 30 bullets per ammo box

   - Railgun settings:
       o Railgun ammo boxes give 5 slugs

   - Maximum ammo counts:
       o SG 100; GL 100; RL 100; RG 100

   - Item "sizes":
       o Items can be picked up while strafejumping

   - Water speeds:
       o Faster wading and swimming

Fixes:
======
   - Damage from the "world":
       o Lava and slime cause a steady flow of damage

   - Shotgun:
       o Pattern is more evenly spread and more predictable
       o 16 shots at 6 damage each (max damage now only 96)
